The snow bank rink is safe to use but please be aware there is still a bare spot at one end. Please enjoy. Bring a yoga mat, small carpet or folding stool to sit on while you lace up.
‘Tis the Holiday Season and we are working hard to finish the snow bank skating rink on the ball diamonds in Secord. We ask that all dog owners refrain from free leashing their pets in the area and to continue to clean up after their dogs. The ice should be ready to be skated on by Dec. 22. Users will need to use the rink at their own risk and no aggressive shiny or skating will be allowed. There will be a couple of shovels left around the rink for volunteers to use if there is any new snow that has to be removed. If anyone has some un-needed benches that we could place by the rink for people to put on their skates please post a reply to this posting or call Shaun at 780 264 8816.
