Epic Block Party Update – September 10, 2016

Today is our first Epic Block Party at the Secord Ball Diamonds – activities start at 5pm! We are so excited for today and have receive so much community support. Thank you! Upon arrival please check in at our welcome/membership table to receive your food ticket.

For legal reasons we will also need to check for ID and Secord Community League membership before entrance to the beer tent (begins at 8Pm), so please remember to bring with you. Minors are not permitted inside the beer tent.

Memberships will be available for purchase at the event. $25 per family.

We still have several Volunteer shifts to fill. We really need help after the event for clean up and transport of tables, as well as Sunday back to rental place (anyone with a truck??). Attendance Areas – NEW Secord School – Public Meeting

Important Public Meeting from EPSB: Monday, June 6 at 6:30pm-8:30pm.
Options for the catchment areas/ attendance boundaries for the future Secord K-9 school and the Michael Phair Junior High on Webber Greens (Lewis Estates) will be presented at this meeting.

Meeting will be held Besse Nichols school, 189 Hemingway Rd NW
