The Secord Community League, in partnership with the Rosenthal Community League, is hosting a Red Cross Babysitting course on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 8:45 am to 4:30 pm at David Thomas King School 22707 97 Avenue NW.
This course provides participants with basic first aid and caregiving skills. Participants between the ages of 11 to 15 years old (or completion of grade 5) learn how to care for young children under their supervision. This course also focuses on how to prevent and respond to emergencies and explores how to prevent and be a responsible babysitter.
Cost: $55 per person with a Secord or Rosenthal Community League membership ($70 without a membership).
Payment shall be made by cheque (Secord Community League), cash or Event Brite prior to the program date.
